Manufacturing Process

Diamond Fiberglass Pools are manufactured in a 100,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility with over twenty-five years experience in the production of fiberglass pools.   Our pools are one of the most durable, longest lasting pools available today.  Every Diamond Fiberglass Pool is built to a rigid set of standards and specifications under the most stringent quality assurance in the industry.

The manufacturing process includes:

1. Use of highest quality raw materials;

2. The mold is cleaned, waxed, and prepared. All surface dust and contamination is removed;

3. An even coat of gel coat is applied in 3 separate passes to insure a smooth and glossy surface;

4. The gel coat is allowed to cure and dry;

5. A 100 mil layer of vinyl ester resin is then applied.  This provides a protective barrier to prevent corrosion and  blistering;

6.  Multi layers of resin and 36 ounce woven fiberglass are then applied to the pool.  This is the shield of armor that will make your pool last a lifetime;

7. The pool is removed from the mold, inspected for quality construction, and then allowed to completely cure;

8. It's on it's way to your backyard!
